Premier Pressure Control offers a full line of lightweight drilling equipment for surface and underground operations. Premiers line of blowout preventers, valves, spools and adapters are 60% lighter than steel models while still achieving a 3,000-psi working pressure rating. This makes Premier BOP stacks ideal for surface and underground applications when water and gas need to be mitigated while giving the driller full control of the wellbore. Premiers complete turnkey drilling stacks with hydraulic control units are available for multiple rod sizes.

Services

Premier specialize in standard alloys and exotic alloys, such as for Premiers ultralight coring rod and acid leach casing for high temperature corrosive applications. For extreme high temperature applications, Premier has alloys that are rated to 1,000 F working temperature. Premiers soft goods such as seals and o-rings are commonly Viton and hybrid polymer. HQ Blowout Preventer Stack

Premiers turnkey HQ blowout preventer stacks are 40-60% lighter than others in the industry and feature dual or single configurations for underground or surface drilling. They include single or dual BOPS, all bolting, ring gaskets, adapters, valves, casing head flanges, diverter spool and control unit. Premiers lightweight alloy allows the stack to be easily transported and assembled. All equipment is rated to 3,000 psi working pressure and working temperature makes it idea for geothermal and gas and water mitigation. Dual BOP configuration replaces heavy ball valves and gate valves that are used as drill through valves. Premiers HQ BOPS can close blind with no tools in the hole and saves almost 300 pounds of weight and 5” of overall stack height.

PQ Stack

Premier Pressure Control’s turnkey BOP stack has a 6” bore and stands just 35” tall when fully assembled. The turnkey stack includes BOP, spool, all valves and adapters, bolting, ring gasket seals and control unit. The lightweight design and material allows the stack to be assembled without a hoist in most applications. All components are rated to 3,000 psi working pressure.

Coring Rod

The Premier Ultra Coring rod is lighter than traditional coring rods through the use of an advanced hyper alloy. A 10-foot rod weighs just 28 pounds and has hardened and coated threads with full wall thickness. This makes tripping rods safer and easier on location for personnel. The weight savings achieved with the Ultra Rod extends the depth and range of the coring rig allowing it to go deeper on surface and longer laterals underground. In addition to the extended depth, the drill itself is more efficient because of the lower rotating mass compared to traditional rods. On locations that require helo transport of equipment, the Ultra Rod’s lightweight design reduces the number of helo runs to deliver equipment to remote or high-altitude sites.

Plug Valves

Premiers light weight plug valves weigh just 27 lbs each and feature hybrid polymer union seals. The combination of the body material, hybrid polymer seals and the hammer up wing nut connection makes these valves ideal for permanent service applications underground on dewatering manifolds, use on drilling stacks and grouting. The valves are rated to 3,000 psi working pressure.

Pumps

Premier Pressure Control offers a wide array of pumps and pump expendables to the mining market. Premier offers bean pumps, piston pumps, and reciprocating pumps.

Drilling Heads

Currently in development is Premier’s high speed drilling stripper head. This unit is meant to replace large bulky rotating heads or ROTPACKS. The drilling head provides a static seal around the rods while the packer is stationary keeping a constant seal on the drill rods. It also features 2” line pipe instrumentation ports 180 degrees from each other to install diverter valves, transducers and any other instrumentation needed.
